Service Description

Waste law comprises the entirety of all legal standards on the subject of waste. According to the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrWG), waste is any material or object that its owner discards, intends to discard or must discard. A distinction is made between waste for recycling and waste for disposal.

Objects of the waste law are in particular

  • The principles and obligations of the producers and owners of waste,
  • the position of public waste management authorities,
  • regulations on product responsibility,
  • waste management planning,
  • the construction and operation of landfills,
  • Obligations to keep records and registers,
  • notification and permit obligations for collectors, carriers, dealers and brokers as well as
  • questions of company organization, a company representative for waste.
