Graduates who have a degree from a university, technical or engineering college or a degree from an ecclesiastical educational institution of the former GDR which was or is located in the territory of the present Free State of Thuringia may - provided that the degree was acquired by 31.12.1994 - apply for a determination of the equivalence of the educational qualification within the meaning of Article 37 (1) of the Unification Treaty and, if applicable, for a postgraduate degree based on the determination.
