Service Description
The fishing examination is one of the requirements for the issuance of a Thuringian fishing license. It is subject to strict rules and is taken in accordance with the general conditions defined in Section 29 (4) ThürFischG in conjunction with Section 26 ThürFischAVO.
In order to participate in the fishing examination, admission to the examination is required. The conditions for this are regulated in § 30 of the ThürFischAVO.
The written fishing examination according to § 29 para. 1 sentence 1 ThürFischG takes place at the competent lower fishery authority.
Process flow
The competent lower fisheries authority shall publicly announce the examination location and date at least 3 months prior to the fixed examination date in the manner customary in the locality. Thereupon, applications can be submitted, which must be received no later than 4 weeks before the examination date. The examination fee must also be paid four weeks before the examination date.
