All natural and legal persons and their associations holding grape must, wine or sparkling wine as of July 31 are required to submit an annual wine and/or grape must inventory report. All stocks of the products originating from own or third-party production that are stored in own or rented premises on the survey date must be reported. It is irrelevant whether these are stored in tanks, barrels or bottles.
Sparkling wine base wine stored in sparkling wine cellars for the production of sparkling wine is also to be reported under "Sparkling wine".
If there are no more stocks compared to the last declaration because they have been sold or residual stocks have been transferred to private stocks (no more sales, only own consumption), a zero declaration is mandatory.
