If you need help in choosing from various training opportunities or would like more information about individual occupations, please contact the Vocational Information Center (BIZ for short) at your local employment agency. Experienced staff there will help you with valuable tips and information material. This also applies to the student advisory services at the individual universities and universities of applied sciences. In addition, the BIZ has free brochures and films that provide information about professions and courses of study, as well as brief information about admission requirements.

Other contacts for career counseling can be found at the Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Chambers of Crafts in Thuringia, the State Association of Liberal Professions and the Bildungswerk der Thüringer Wirtschaft. Here you can obtain comprehensive information on the various training opportunities, career guidance and even apprenticeship placement.
