Apply for phytosanitary certificates for export to third countries

Service Description

Plant diseases and pests can be carried over during international trade in plants, plant products or other items. In the case of such harmful organisms, there is a risk that they will spread in an uncontrolled manner in a new environment and cause major economic damage. For these reasons, international trade in this area is subject to strict phytosanitary monitoring. Plants may only be exported from the EU with a phytosanitary certificate (PGZ). The PGZ/ VAZ confirms compliance with the import requirements of the respective receiving country after prior inspection.

The internet service is used for the electronic registration of export consignments for phytosanitary control and for the issuance of a PGZ/ VAZ by the responsible official phytosanitary service.
