The Federal Ministry of Economics provides information on its website about the available tools and has set up a hotline on economic-related issues of the coronavirus.

Possible assistance includes, for example

• Loans and other financial assistance for short-term liquidity needs,
• guarantees,
• short-time allowances and
• other instruments.

Small and medium-sized enterprises, micro-enterprises and solo self-employed persons can also receive support.

The Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) also provides information on loan options for affected companies. If you have any questions about short-time allowance, you can contact the Federal Employment Agency.
