If there is a change in the person of the keeper, the previous keeper or owner must notify the responsible registration authority immediately for the purpose of changing the vehicle register.

Depending on the offer of the registration authority, a corresponding form is available for download.

Notification is unnecessary if the acquirer has already notified the registration authority of the changes. Immediately after the change of owner, the acquirer must notify the registration authority responsible for his/her own place of residence or registered office of the new owner data and the vehicle data and, upon request, provide proof, apply for the issue of a new registration certificate Part I and present the registration certificate Part II for the change (transfer).
