Geoinformation can be obtained via the geoportals of the administrations.

Do you need maps for leisure, planning or research projects? For this purpose, among others, the Thuringian State Office for Land Management and Geoinformation (TLBG) publishes the official topographic maps for the territory of the Free State of Thuringia. The state maps for Thuringia are published at scales ranging from 1:10,000 (large scale) to 1:100,000 (small scale). The larger the scale, the more detailed the reproduction of the conditions in the map and the more map sheets are produced. The selection of available map sheets (KB) amounts to 535 KB at the scale of 1:10,000 over 128 KB at the scale of 1:25,000, 31 KB at the scale of 1:50,000 and 9 KB at the scale of 1:100,000. In addition, in cooperation with the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG), further topographic general maps are published at smaller scales of 1:250,000 to 1:1,000,000, which cover the territory of the Free State. The topographic maps at the various scales form the basis of a large number of thematic general maps produced and made available by the TLBG.

Topographic maps and the thematic maps derived from them are available in analog (multicolor print - output folded or plano) or digital format.
