After-school care registration and deregistration is usually done in writing via the head of the respective elementary school. The child's daily attendance at the after-school care center must be stated. The after-school care registration must be renewed annually.

For each child registered for after-school care, a contribution to the personnel and material costs of after-school care must be paid in advance. The income and number of children in a family are taken into account in an appropriate manner.

The child is covered by statutory accident insurance with the municipal accident insurance association.
