The Product Information Center for the Construction Industry provides information on the use of construction products in Germany and on the relevant technical rules for the planning, design and execution of buildings.

Here you can also find information on the principle of mutual recognition and the application of Regulation (EU) 2019/515 in Germany. You will find links to the contact details of the independent testing laboratories and certification bodies designated by the European Commission: so-called notified bodies for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products (AVCP, Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance).

We also provide information on how the applicable EU harmonization legislation relating to construction products is implemented and enforced in Germany (Regulation EU 2019/1020).

As part of the Construction Products Regulation (Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011), Product Contact Points for Construction have been set up throughout Europe so that companies and citizens can quickly obtain a picture of the legal situation in the Member State in which they wish to market their construction product.
