Parking at parking meters, parking ticket machines or with parking discs - get exemption for ohnhänder, ohnarmer and people of small stature

Service Description

For severely disabled people, parking privileges can be granted, among other things, in the form of a personal EU-uniform parking permit.

Parking permits offer various special parking rights, for example free parking in parking management zones.

A parking management zone is an area in which there is a certain number of parking spaces for which there is a demand from motorists.

Within it, there is such things as the option to park with a parking ticket or parking disc, free parking, restricted and total no-stopping zones, and special parking spaces.

As a rule, parking meters with a height of 1.27 m and parking ticket machines with a height of up to 1.33 m can be operated by most people of short stature.

Upon application and presentation of evidence that the respective applicant is unable to operate the parking meters or parking ticket machines due to his/her height, unlimited exemptions valid for the entire federal territory can be granted.

The persons concerned can then park at parking meters or parking ticket machines without paying a fee for the duration of the specified maximum time.

The same applies to those who are fainthearted.

The group of persons includes not only the organic but also the functional impaired persons.

Functional impaired persons are all disabled persons who cannot reasonably operate the parking time monitoring devices with the remaining parts of their hand or arm.
