Veterinary certificate for the identification of a dog according to the Thuringian Chippflichtverordnung (compulsory chip ordinance)

Service Description

According to § 2 paragraph 4 Thuringian Law for the Protection of the Population against Animal Dangers (ThürTierGefG) every owner of a dog is obliged to mark his dog with a microchip. The veterinarian must issue proof of this identification; compare § 2 paragraph 1 Thüringer Chippflichtverordnung (ThürChipVO). A standardized state form has been created for veterinarians. This proof is to be handed over to the responsible regulatory authority, compare § 3 paragraph 2 ThürChipVO.
