War Victims Welfare

Service Description

War victims' welfare serves to supplement pension benefits for beneficiaries under social compensation law by providing special assistance in individual cases.
It includes

  • Benefits to supplement other benefits on an individual basis,

  • including supplementary assistance with living expenses,

  • assistance with occupational rehabilitation and care as well as recuperation assistance.

War victims' welfare benefits or extended benefits under laws that declare the Federal Pension Act (BVG) to be applicable are dependent on income and assets, unless they are caused by injury, i.e. benefits must be calculated.
