The use of public roads beyond public use constitutes special use, which is in principletion is subject to a permit and charge.

Special uses of a commercial nature are e.g:

• Sales trolleys/sales stands

• Display stands in front of your own stores

• information stands

• Advertising stands/boards

• Tables/chairs

• Bicycle stands

• Posters

Application content:

• Applications must specify the location, type and duration of the special use and the size of the required street areas.

Content of the permit:

• The special use permit is generally issued for a limited period or until revoked, subject to change. Conditions are attached to this permit which must be complied with.
• As part of the control activities, unauthorized special uses or non-compliance with the conditions of the special use permit are recorded and appropriate regulatory measures are initiated (e.g. warning, fine, penalty payment, substitute performance).
