• If you do not live with your parents: Copy
  • of the tenancy agreement or
  • the registration certificate
• If you are not covered by family insurance: Proof of health and long-term care insurance with legal basis and contribution amount.
• If applicable, proof of your own income during the approval period, for example
  • Pay slip, part-time job, work contract,
  • Orphan's pension certificate,
  • scholarship certificate,
  • Riester pension certificate
• Proof of assets or debts on the date of application, e.g. bank statement
• Proof of income from parents and/or spouse/life partner (tax assessment notice from the calendar year before last or electronic income tax statement from the calendar year before last, unemployment certificate, etc.)
• Possibly current proof of education and current income of siblings
• If you have a car:
  • Estimate of the value, e.g. printout from a website with a comparable offer, and
  • vehicle registration certificate
• For studies: From the 5th semester onwards: Proof of performance from your university
• For studies: Confirmation of admission from the Canadian university - name of the university, study status (full-time student), start and end of the enrolment period(s), subjects/courses, study level, signature/stamp of the university (final proof of enrolment or confirmation of admission must be submitted after commencement of studies abroad)
• For a degree course: Proof of the amount of tuition fees only, stating whether a reduction has been applied for (excluding general fees and other ancillary costs)
• For a degree program: If applicable, confirmation from the domestic university that a cooperation agreement exists between the German and Canadian universities
• For studies: Proof of the amount of health insurance abroad
• For studies / internship: Authorization from parents
• For school attendance: confirmation of admission from the Canadian school - written confirmation from the foreign school of the type (high school, vocational school) and duration of your school attendance (after the start of the school year in Canada, final confirmation of admission from the Canadian school must be submitted by the student)
• For a school visit: a certificate stating the grade level at which the schooling abroad will begin
• For a school visit: a confirmation that the teaching time is at least 20 hours per week
• For an internship: confirmation of admission from the Canadian university (to be submitted after the start of the internship as final proof that the internship has been completed in Canada)
• For an internship: Internship contract (name of the internship organization, name of the intern, start and end of the internship, signature/stamp of the internship organization)
• For an internship: Notification from the internship position about the amount of remuneration and whether free board and lodging will be provided
• Declarations according to form 6
• Proof of the most recent funding notification from the domestic office

Depending on the case, further documents may be required. Please follow the instructions in the application forms. The Office for Educational Support responsible for you will request any missing documents.
