Applying for a sticker for electrically powered vehicles from abroad

Service Description

You as the driver of an electrically powered vehicle, for example a

  • battery electric vehicle;
  • a fuel cell vehicle or
  • rechargeable hybrid electric vehicle (plug-in hybrid with a purely electric range of at least 40 km),

can claim preferential treatment when driving on the road in accordance with the Electric Mobility Act (EmoG) if your vehicle is marked with an e-badge, even if it comes from abroad.

The sticker is issued on application by a registration authority visited by the applicant. You must then affix the sticker to the back of your vehicle.
