In the application for a driving school permit, the applicant shall provide the name and address of the driving school and indicate the driving school permit class for which the driving school permit is to be issued in accordance with Section 17 (2) FahrlG.

The application must be accompanied by

1. an officially certified copy or photocopy of the driving instructor's license,
2. documents about the activity as a driving instructor according to § 18 par. 1 no. 4,
3. a certificate from the provider of a driving instruction course in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 No. 5 confirming successful completion of the course,
4. a statement as to whether a driving school permit has already been issued and, if so, by which authority,
5. a scaled plan of the teaching rooms with details of their equipment,
6. a statement that the prescribed teaching materials are available,
7. a list of the number and type of teaching vehicles,
8. an extract from the central business register, not older than three months,
9. a confirmation from the competent tax authority that the company has fulfilled its tax obligations,
10. a commercial lease agreement.

The applicant shall also submit a certificate of good conduct within the meaning of Section 30a (1) No. 1 of the Federal Central Register Act in accordance with Section 30 (5) of the Federal Central Register Act, which shall not be older than three months.If the applicant is a legal entity or partnership, the documents in accordance with Section 22 (1) Sentence 2 Nos. If the applicant is a legal entity or a partnership, the documents required by Section 22 (1) Sentence 2 Nos. 4 to 9 of the FahrlG, a certified extract from the Commercial Register or the Register of Associations and, in the case of the person appointed as the responsible manager of the training company, the documents required by Section 22 (1) Sentence 2 Nos. 1 to 4 of the FahrlG. Furthermore, it must be stated which other professional obligations the person appointed for the responsible management of the training company has to fulfill. Section 22, paragraph 1, sentence 3 of the FahrlG shall apply mutatis mutandis to the persons authorized to represent the legal entity or partnership and to the person appointed as the responsible manager of the training company.

With regard to the branch permit, the following shall apply mutatis mutandis

1. § 17 Para. 2 concerning the driving instructor permit classes,

2. § 22 Para. 1 S. 1 Nos. 4 to 7 on the declaration of existing driving instructor licenses and the information on classrooms, teaching aids and teaching vehicles,

3. section 26 subsections 1 and 2 on the issuance and

4. sections 28 to 33 on continuation after the death of the holder, general obligations, notification obligations, records, tuition fees and the suspension or expiry of the driving school permit.
