Disability assistance

Service Description

Persons who are substantially limited in their ability to participate in society as a result of a disability or who are threatened by such a substantial disability receive integration assistance benefits.
The aim of integration assistance is to prevent an impending disability or to eliminate or mitigate a disability or its consequences and to achieve integration into society.

Benefits of integration assistance are:

  • Services for medical rehabilitation
  • Services for participation in working life
  • Benefits for participation in education
  • Services for social participation.

Services can be

  • services of simple and qualified assistance
  • person-centered complex services
  • outpatient assisted living
  • special forms of living
  • school assistance
  • curative education services
  • Workshops for people with disabilities (WfbM)
  • budget for work.

Severely disabled people also receive support for integration into the general labor market from the Integration Office.
