Contacting the central cybercrime contact point (ZAC service) for the business community
Service Description
In each federal state there is a "Central Cybercrime Contact Point" (ZAC office) for the economy. The ZAC offices are located in the state criminal investigation departments.
Cybercrime is all criminal offences that are directed against the Internet, data networks, IT systems and their data or that are committed by means of IT, for example:
- Data/identity theft,
- data theft,
- Online blackmail by means of:
- DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) or
- Ransomware/crypto Trojans,
- Man-in-the-middle attack and
- CEO Fraud.
You can also get in touch if you would like advice on cybercrime prevention measures. The ZAC service in the state in which your company is located is responsible for you.
Process flow
If your company has become a victim of cybercrime or if you would like advice on measures to prevent cybercrime, you can contact your ZAC service by telephone or e-mail. The further procedure then depends on the individual case.
