Insurance intermediaries or advisors, financial investment intermediaries or fee-based financial investment advisors and real estate loan intermediaries or fee-based real estate loan advisorsFee-based real estate loan advisors who are entered in the register of intermediaries as holders of a corresponding license (or an exemption from the obligation to obtain a license as an insurance intermediary) can have their data deleted from the register of intermediaries if they are no longer working within the scope of the license granted.

If this applies to you, but you wish to maintain the existing license (or exemption from the obligation to obtain a license as an insurance intermediary) as a so-called "drawer license", select this service ("Deletion from the register of intermediaries"). Please note that in this case the required professional indemnity insurance, or alternatively the equivalent guarantee, must continue to exist without any gaps. Any ongoing professional obligations (e.g. further training obligation) also continue to apply. If you wish to resume the permitted activity at a later date, you must apply for re-entry in the register of intermediaries before commencing the activity.

If you no longer require the existing permit (or exemption from the obligation to obtain a permit as an insurance intermediary), even within the scope of a drawer permit, you have the option of waiving it. To do so, please select the "Declare waiver of license" service. If you waive your license, your license data will also be deleted from the register of intermediaries without you having to submit an additional application.
