Recognition of breeding organizations in accordance with § 3 para. 1 ff of the Animal Breeding Act

Service Description

The breeding supervision of all animal species covered by animal breeding law (equidae, cattle, pigs, sheep and goats) is carried out by state-recognized breeding organizations. These must successfully complete a specific procedure for recognition, which is regulated in both national and European animal breeding legislation. Breeding associations and breeding companies can receive state recognition from the competent authority of a federal state or other member state of the European Union.
