Service Description

Modern occupational safety and health means ensuring the safety and health of employees and third parties at work or as a result of work.
The core tasks are the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases, the avoidance of work-related health hazards and the humane design of work.

The legislator has issued regulations for a large number of interrelated areas.
Examples include:

  • Hazardous substances, biological agents
  • Working time regulations
  • Maternity protection
  • Protection of young people at work
  • Occupational medicine
  • Organization of occupational health and safety in the company

Safety and health at work in Germany are essentially supported by three pillars - occupational health and safety, the state occupational health and safety authorities and the accident insurance institutions.
Occupational health and safety is practiced in companies, enterprises and administrations.
