Recognition of breeding organizations according to § 3 par. 1 ff Animal Breeding Act

Service Description

The breeding care of all animal species covered by the animal breeding law (equidae, cattle, pigs, sheep and goats) is carried out by state-recognized breeding organizations. These must successfully pass a certain procedure for recognition, which is regulated in both national and European animal breeding legislation. State recognition can be obtained by breeding associations and breeding companies from the competent authority of a federal state or other member state of the European Union.
