Public announcements must be made by the insolvency court as part of insolvency proceedings. For example, the registry of the insolvency court must publicly announce the opening order. A public announcement is made by means of a central and transnational publication on the Internet; this publication can be made in extracts. The debtor must be precisely identified, in particular his address and line of business must be stated. The insolvency court may arrange for further publications insofar as this is stipulated by state law.
