Vaccination damage

Service Description

Have you suffered any damage to your health as a result of a vaccination or other specific prophylactic measure?

If this vaccination was publicly recommended, legally ordered or prescribed, or carried out on the basis of international health regulations, you will receive care on application for the health and economic consequences of the vaccination damage in accordance with the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Infection Protection Law). The care is granted in corresponding application of the regulations of the Federal Supply Act (BVG).

Compensation may take the form of a monthly pension. Depending on the degree of impairment (GdS), the benefit includes

  • non-income-related benefits, such as basic pension, care allowance, clothing allowance, severely disabled person's allowance, and
  • income-related benefits, such as compensatory pension, spouse's supplement, occupational injury compensation.

Survivors' benefits for widows, widowers, orphans and parents are also regulated. There is also the possibility of assuming costs in the event of need for care due to injury and in the event of institutionalization, as well as the payment of death and burial benefits. Other benefits include medical and health care, welfare (war victims' welfare) and the provision of orthopedic aids.
