If you want to manage a road passenger transport company, you must be professionally suitable. If you can prove practical experience of at least ten years in a managerial position in such a company that operates road passenger transport, other proof of professional suitability, e.g. through an examination, is not necessary. This activity must have been carried out without interruption in one or more member states of the EU during the period of ten years from 04.12.1999 to 03.12.2009.

If your activity is recognized, you will receive a certificate of professional competence.

For cab and rental car companies, a minimum period of activity of three years applies, whereby this may not be longer than two years ago.
